How to use Basic Block included with DVD

​

• Place basic patterns on muslin fabric.
• Add 1/2" seam allowances around the pattern onto the fabric. (Basic patterns have no seam allowance. Blocks are manipulated into a style, then the seam allowances are added.
• Cut and sew a sample.
• Try the sample on and make adjustments to the original pattern.
• When all changes are made, transfer to hard paper and begin to use with the lessons.
